Hi, I'm Trent.

I've been writing about sports professionally since August 2022, with bylines at West Virginia Sports Nation and BettingPros, plus additional work for Pro Football Network and GodzillaWins along the way. Most of what I write centers on WVU athletics, but I cover everything from betting markets to feature interviews to daily analysis.

Writing was never the whole picture, though. I also shoot and edit short-form sports video, one of my edits has crossed 1.8 million views on TikTok, and I produce a paid Top 5 video series for WVSN. I'm active across seven platforms, and I built that presence the same way I built my writing career: by showing up consistently and getting better at the craft one piece at a time.

Underneath all of it is a lifelong love of sports cards. I've been selling on eBay since 2011, and these days I host "WNBA Wednesdays," a weekly live card show on Whatnot built around the WNBA market, alongside storefronts on eBay and COMC. It's the same instinct that drives the writing and the editing: find what's genuinely interesting, then go deep on it.

I'm based in Bridgeport, West Virginia, and I'm always open to new freelance writing, video editing, or content opportunities.
